That goddamn bear infected Mioda, Owari, and Komaeda with a disease that made them all act...weird. Mioda was calm and compliant, Owari turned into a damn crybaby, and Komaeda bastard lied about everything. Anyway, Tsumiki must have caught it from one of them while she was nursing them and it made her go absolutely nuts. She led Mioda out of the hospital, strangled her, and then slit Saionji's throat when she walked in on them.

And that's why nobody's allowed to tell Tsumiki about any of this, it's not just that she killed them. It's that we can't chance her remembering the Despair Fever.

Why would anybody ask for something as ridiculous as that?

There's a chance, yeah. There's no guarantee that she will, Nanami said how much people remember can differ. And she's still got a good few days between the point she remembers now and the point where she catches the fever. So...

[He's trying to keep positive, really. He is.]

That doesn't make any sense.

But in the worst-case scenario, if she does remember... is it safe for someone like Nanami to be around her? Who else is in Cianwood right now?
