it's a tall order and it's not easy, but i really think she'll be better off in the long run this way.
maybe try taking it one issue at a time.
like try getting her used to the idea that everyone else isn't in costumes first, before you tell her it's gonna happen to her too.
and let's be honest, most of the monsters here aren't THAT bad, yknow?
weird looking, sure. maybe even scary in some cases, but most of them are decent people.

you could try going anon on the network to see if anybody here actually IS a shrink.
you don't have to go into any real detail or anything, definitely don't name names, but just ask if there are any professionals who know how to deal with trauma cases.

and that's the one thing i DO know i have.
trust me though, going this slow is not as great as you think it is.
sure, it doesn't hurt physically, but it's got other downsides.
and i won't be surprised if at some point i end up getting slammed with a bunc of shit at once to make up for it.

anyway, it was like a normal festival until nightfall.
then the plants started attacking anyone
an some of the monsters went crazy, trying to water them with blood.
i dunno why though.

that was the night he got them.

so nobody died but it sure LOOKED like a fucking murder scene when i got back.
