so what is the problem?????
Tch...
[Apparently that is all there is to say on the matter of cute creatures and spoiling them. What a helpful and well-thought out answer from a reasonable adult.]
Really? You don't?
[He thought all westerners did? Is it just an American thing????]
i just laugh whenever you use it...
[ IT
IT APPARENTLY IS A DAY TO BE FEARED IN NOVOSELIC, because fucking Novoselic ]
ugh look i can't control the fanartists and i need blushing icons
[Well, you know, there was really only so long he could avoid learning about just how ??? worthy Novoselic is. This whole time he's been under the false impression that all of Sonia's weirdness is just a personal quirk.]

[ WHAT...EVER THE FUCK THAT MEANS????? stares at reference doc titled Weird Novoselic Shit. ]
Truly, the fact that you find it so happy is an exciting thing for me! I should like to have a Japanese-style Christmas once.

[He's not even going to ask. Just. Not even. Moving on.]
Well, maybe this year you can, assuming we're not out of this hellhole by then. Though I dunno how authentic it'd be since this place isn't Japan...
[Do they even have KFC here?]
no subject
Even if it is not entirely authentic, it would still be a celebration with friends, no? I should prefer to return to our own world in order to set aright the wrongs we committed, but if we are to be stuck here, spending these holidays with all of you would not be so bad a thing.

Yeah. Trust me, I'd rather be back in our own hellhole than stuck in this one by then but... [SIGH.] guess we'll see.
Shame you just missed it though. The guy who runs the monster bookstore in Bavan put together a ball for Christmas. Not a Japanese Christmas by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't a bad way to spend time together. [A beat.] For the most part.
