Potions and antidotes...there are lots of types of medicines for different status effects, but the names are usually helpful as to which goes with which...

That means that you can't use HM moves without badges. ...Ah, those are things like Fly and Surf...they're ways to move more easily in this world. However, it also means you get a discount in stores...and according to a few people, more prize money from gyms.

[ Perks are always cool, right? She can actually see Kuzuryuu bothering with gym battles, more so than she can see it of Tsumiki in her current state. ]

I'm also a trainer. Which is why I'm headed towards Violet to get the first badge. I have to catch up as soon as I can!

[ It's possible she's going to be in a state of happy excitement for most of her stay at Route, or at least her brand of it. ]

Well, except for the soft hiccups because she's definitely not going to stop crying anytime soon. Way to go, Kuzuryuu. She's also staying relatively in one spot as well.

Yep. Poison attacks can make that happen...there's also things like "paralyze" and "burn".

Is that really so hard to believe? It's implausible, certainly, that circumstances like that could even occur in the first place, but once you've accepted the possibility of people being brought to a place from different points along a timeline as true, it's hardly an unusual state of affairs.

[She is practically beaming.] Paralyze and burn...and there are "potions" for these as well, yes? I don't seem to have any of these in my bag, save for Potions. I also have things called Repels...?

Think nothing of it, Nanami-san! That's my job as a nurse.

Paralyze heal and burn heal...there are also berries that work, but I haven't managed to get my hands on any of those, so I'm afraid I don't know too much about it. I've mostly been focused on learning the new Pokemon and types.

As for Repels, those are important if you don't want to battle...they'll keep wild Pokemon away for a while.
