[Just as Kuzuryuu is about to unload some real SHSL spoilers, he cuts off, paling slightly due to a small, nervous voice piping up from somewhere off screen. His head spins around so fast it’s a wonder he didn’t break his own neck.]

U-um. [Now that she’s approaching her friend, the girl is clearly unsure if this was what she wanted to do. He didn't seem very happy about their circumstances - though who could blame him, really?] Wh-who are you talking to? Is Hinata-san there? [Yeah, guess who hasn’t really done diddly squat with her gear.]

[The feed ends abruptly, with the shorter boy only looking all the more like he's seen a ghost.]

Saionji just stares at the video, watching it stream across the network with interest and annoyance at first, with Kuzuryuu's fucking voice and sweets in hand- but now they're all over the grass, and she sits quietly before pressing the 'reply' button.]

[Though uh...given the look on Saionji's face coupled with the fact that she didn't immediately launch into insulting Tsumiki, Kuzuryuu gets the feeling that he might just know the last thing Saionji remembers. He slaps on a filter at this point. Kirigiri's already been nosing around, better safe than sorry. Hopefully Tsumiki herself is distracted enough that she can't hear him.]

What's the last thing you remember? Because if it is what I think it is, I have only one thing to say: don't.

[Saionji contemplates just going straight to calling Tsumiki- fucking idiot, why didn't she just turn on the filter too at first and just call her but everyone deserves to know what she did-]

[Spot on with the memory thing, though.] It's heinous. Murder of people is never justified, and that pig bitch is going to get what's coming to her. But I guess someone like you can't understand that, can you?

She hasn't done it yet! [A beat.] Or can't remember it or whatever the fuck it is that happened to her when she was brought here. Nanami says that we're all brought here from different points in time or some other crazy bullshit like that. It makes no sense to me but it's obviously true because she isn't the only one who doesn't know things that they should.

[Because Naegi and Kirigiri don't remember him so clearly this isn't as batshit as it sounds.]

You should know better than anyone what'll happen if she remembers. We can't chance that!

[He's still not entirely sure how this world works with this whole...memory thing. What's to say that she can't be stimulated into remembering and go despair-crazy again? And it sound like he's going to be on the road with her for a while so that is the absolute last thing he wants.]

I'm not saying you have to like her or forgive her or even be nice to her but do not say anything to her about what happened after she caught despair fever, do you understand?!

[Saionji has to stare a bit before speaking. So pig bitch doesn't remember? The whole 'different times' thing she already understood, and was already beginning to detest. She almost remembers the sensation- despair fever is a thick thing, highly contagious, especially with open wounds and sores, apparently.

The feeling forcing itself down her severed throat and trying to make her feel good about it-] ...Fine. It sounds like a bad idea to chance her remembering.

...But when she does remember, I'll arrange for a refreshing execution and get her stoned to death! Everyone can just piss on her corpse too, she'll be too dangerous to let loose and too disgusting to let live! [She reluctantly agrees to it, but that doesn't mean she's not planning how to torment Tsumiki to breaking point. If she can't kill Tsumiki in revenge in this world... then she'll just have to make do.]

[He's just...not going to comment on how Tsumiki really isn't he only one they need to worry about remembering things. Really, they're all a danger. Especially now that they're outside of the New World Program? Who knows what might happen because of that.]

People here either end up leaving, or end up remembering sooner or later! While I'd rather her greasy pig face gets wiped off this plane of existence, if she does remember, then I'll just have to make do!

[Kuzuryuu falls silent. Saionji has put him in something of an awkward position. Because, on the one hand, if there's one person in their entire class who understands a desire for revenge: it's Kuzuryuu. It's how he was raised and hell, that's kind of entirely what that whole mess that was the second trial revolved around, wasn't it?]

[So he gets it. He really and truly does understand how Saionji's feeling here. And some small part of him almost feels hypocritical since Koizumi couldn't remember how she'd helped in covering his sister's death either. And she'd still paid for it. Granted, Peko had acted on her own there. Chances are, he wouldn't have gone through with killing Koizumi and he knows it.]

[But, on the other hand..knowing what he knows now, he wants to put Jabberwock behind them completely. Winding up here was something of a blessing, in a way. If they can find a way to get the rest of their class here...well, then they don't have to worry about finding a way to wake up their comatose bodies do they? They don't have to deal with the despair. And none of the kids who made it to the end ever have to find out about that and be at odds with themselves.]

[Though isn't that kind of like running away?]

[Damn does he need to talk to Hinata face-to-face about all this. This whole situation they've found themselves in is too complicated and delicate, the way he sees it. It's stressful, being a survivor.]
