When it comes to gym battles...which is more your style? Getting the damn thing over with as fast as possible by exploiting their weakness? Or drawing it out by not taking advantage of their typing handicap?
[Kuzuryuu, your team is hardly the pinnacle of typing diversity you really don't have much room to talk about type handicaps here. You beat Chuck because you were over-leveled, let's not kid ourselves here.]
...This isn't meant to be some deep analytical bullshit of your character or anything like that. I just got my Storm badge and that got me thinking. [...] It...seemed like a good conversation starter.
[He...tried? God, is he ever making an attempt at socializing. It's just not a very good one. Especially with this long pause he seems to have gotten himself stuck in now. Did he forget what he was going to say? No, he just kind of got off-script from how he'd initially planned this post to go and now he's not sure how to end it.]
Look, just... oh what the hell, fuck it. [He sighs in frustration, snapping back to his usual, irritable self. He was trying not to be obvious about the contest thing but FUCK IT.] The name's Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. That's western order but let's keep it to family names, yeah? [Do not be fooled by the question mark at the end of that sentence. It is not a question; it's a statement, and his tone makes that abundantly clear. You are not on the (very short) list of people who are allowed to call him Fuyuhiko.] If we've never talked before, let's do it now. It doesn't even have to be about what I said before. The topic doesn't matter; I don't fucking care what it is, as long as it's not something stupid. Don't waste my goddamn time.
[WELL THAT SURE WENT DOWNHILL FASTER THAN A ROLLER SKATER ON CYCLING ROAD. People will be absolutely lining up to talk to you, Kuzuryuu. Well done. You will most assuredly beat Nanami now.]

audio;
Don't have enough variety on your team yet? Or is do you have a bunch that don't like battling or something?
audio;
Not really. When I first got here, I just settled in Goldenrod with my brother. When he left, I figured now would be as good a time as any to take on the gym challenge.
[ You can almost hear the small uneasy shrug. ]
Then the prom happened and the only time I could get back to Violet City was after it.
[ This small convo is making him think though. ]
audio;
[Come on, you know you have to say more than that, Kuzuryuu. Conversations die if you don't put effort into them and you are trying to avoid that.]
...Older brother or younger?
audio;
[ That second question makes him laugh a bit though. It's a little nostalgic, the answer to that question. ]
Younger. We're twins, actually. Everyone seems to think I'm older though.
audio;
Heh, I think I could relate more to your brother then, in that case. People used to mistake my little sister for the older one sometimes. Or twins, we used to get mistaken for twins a fair bit even though we aren't.
[One of their parents just has STUPIDLY strong genes...]
audio;
[ Classmates though, that's a nostalgic thought. Here he was just about to start highschool before he got pulled into this world... ]
I'm guessing there's a lot of you that came from your world?
audio;
[That feel when your little sister is taller than you are. :'|]
I guess that depends on your definition of a lot. There's seven of us from a class of sixteen. And then just about as many from a different class.
audio;
That's still a pretty big number. Most usually only have two or three from their world.
audio;
Re: audio;
[ You can almost hear the awkward laugh. ]
Seven's a bit more than what most people have.
audio;
Re: audio;
I... I'm sorry if it sounds like I was trying to bring that number to your attention!
