Don't get smart, asshole, you know what I meant. [Still does not trust Komaeda as far as he can throw him which, let's face it, is not very far. He has twiggy little arms and Komaeda is much taller than he is. So he's probably going to spend the whole party on high alert because he's convinced something is going to go wrong.] What needs to be done for this party to happen?

[Apparently that's his way of offering to help...because it's Hinata and he does want to help, but like hell is he going to ask what Komaeda needs help with.]

[Komaeda is quiet for a moment. He's coming to the conclusion that absolutely nothing he says will possibly be taken well at all right now.]

Please don't feel the need to trouble yourself with anything. Hinata-kun will just be happier with all our classmates there I'm sure. The ones who can be, in this place, anyway.

Though if you have any good ideas for what to do at a party... mm. I'll admit to not having been to many at all. [Never invited. Story of his life. Not that he blames people for not wanting him around.] So if you have any ideas for activities, I'd be happy to hear them. I've already asked Tanaka-kun's input on music. [So now he's going to Kuzuryuu for party games. He's totally got this in the bag.]

[Komaeda what are you doing. Komaeda where is the logic in this party planning. You may have some of the worst options when it comes to help but really? The no-fun brigade on party games? GUNDAM FOR MUSIC??]

Implying I have? [Sure he and his sister probably had birthday parties when they were younger but...well that doesn't really help here. They aren't kids. And it's not like any parties he had would have involved friends.] I meant more like...setting up or something.

Shouldn't we just do activities Hinata likes? I know all that really takes is just hanging out with him but... [Surely there's SOMETHING he likes in particular. Climbing things, if Island Mode is any indication. Climbing party. Kuzuryuu's not really sure what it is though, because all they ever did when they hung out together was sit around and talk...]

[Nope. This is foolproof. Yakuza party games. World's most dramatic and possibly animal themed goth party music. At least he's going to ask Hanamura about food. So at the very least there should be no food poisoning.] Setting up should be pretty simple I think.

[Though Kuzuryuu does bring up a good point. Hinata's preferences do tend to going with the flow and going with whatever his weird nerd friends want to do.] Mm. It's true Hinata-kun does seem happiest when he gets to spend time with the people he cares about -- though I think he'd be shy to admit that so plainly. So if everyone comes, no matter what we do it should be good, don't you think?

I don't care how simple it is, you're not doing it alone.

[Because nothing good ever comes of leaving Komaeda alone to set something up. Nothing. People die when that happens. So Komaeda will probably have one, if not both yakuzas supervising/helping with set up whether he likes it or not.]

But yeah, that's not wrong...he does and I'm sure he'd be happy with whatever we end up doing so long as we're all there. Though I really doubt we have to worry about anybody not showing up.

[Komaeda doesn't answer that first bit, mostly because he's not terribly interested in asking for permission. Maybe once he would have been, but knowing what he knows about who all of them are... less so now.]

That's true. So far everyone seems really willing to come, but that's not surprising since it's Hinata-kun. I think he has that effect on people.

Yeah...he does. [God bless Hajime Hinata.] I'll give it some thought and let you know if I come up with anything as far as shit to do goes. I'm drawing a blank right now and, like I said, I've gotta go help Tanaka with something anyway.
